Welcoming 1st Jan 2009

Today is the first day of year 2009. Well, I slept until 1pm and then quickly freshen up to meet up friends at Pavillion for movie at 3.

We were a lil late and grabbed a quick brunch nearby. As usual, we were late about 15 minutes. The movie was great and I was so touched. About the movie-"Australia", I would rate it 5 stars out if 5, it's about the black, white and the mixed living in the old days in Australia. Well, guess it will be another review from me coming soon. Why not now? Haha, cause I am now at Pavillion Starbucks sipping my favourite Java Chips Ice Blended. I like their Java Chips so much as you can enjoy one of their signature blended coffee with the crunchy chocolate chips. *Slurp*

Last night gathered a few buddies for New Year's eve countdown. Our initial plan was drove up to the Hulu Langat's Look Out Point, but the traffic was terrible and we did not even manage to park our car. So ended up drove back down to town to grab some dinner at a Thai restaurant at Ampang Waterfront. Lucky beforehand I already had my dinner at home before heading to meet up my buddies, if not I would be badly starving like Pik Fun. Haha!

We had a nice chat the entire night while slowly enjoyed my Tom Yam soup. Later we planned to go back the hill again to catch the final meteor dusts leftover from year 2008. Unexpectedly, we were all caught in the traffic again! Gosh! Anyhow, we still able to steal a peep at KLCC's fireworks before the party dismissed.

Somehow in the middle of my way home, we passed by Jalan Chan Sow Lin and I was shocked that one of the building was on fire! We stopped our car nearby the road to see what's going on. I took a few pictures and videos of the tragedy scene. We left the place after 10 minutes since there were nothing we could help.

It was an unforgettable and tiring night after all. Now my whole body is aching due to the over exercising last few days (I went for badminton with girlfriends on Tuesday). I think I should have keep doing exercise more frequent in order to avoid having such a muscle pain every parts of my body. Ouch!!
