I think I did mention in my early posts where I was looking for collagen as beauty boost. And here I am where I have been taking this as supplement to input more collagen to firm up the skin and also for a better complexion.
I have actually done some research before taking this. There are too many brands and collagen types in the market right now. And after some ‘google’ search, I’ve decided to give it a try on Meiji Amino Collagen. For each 7g of Amino Collagen powder, it contains of 5000mg Collagen…..
The time I bought was having promotion at Isetan supermarket, which was Buy 5 Free 1 (RM160 each tin). During Isetan Sales, buy 2 at only RM268. If you already have the tin which comes with the measurement spoon, then you can buy the refill pack which gives you TWO days FREE at same price. (Aiseh, only 2 days free! Means only extra 14g!! :P)
Due the first time trying, I sipped a little bit before drinking, but the original taste was quite freaking, therefore, I decided to drink with Milo without sugar. And the weird taste gone and I drank my favourite Milo as usual.
For a better and immediate result, it would be better to also take some Vitamin C or Vitamin C supplements as it acts as an activator to enhance the absorption of collagen by our body system.
In fact, the powder itself (mostly all Collagen products) comes with Vitamin C. But in order to make sure the collagen works in a better form, I bought some Redoxon which contains of 1000mg Vitamin C and also 10mg Zinc for each tablet.
Redoxon (twin packs 30 tablets – RM36.80), bought from Watson.

It tastes great with Redoxon. I love it so much and have this every morning before breakfast. But I would advise not to take with too much Vitamin C for those who has serious gastric problem.
Well, let's wait and see how it goes well on me. Will give another review after trying a month or two. (^_^)
For those who may be interested, browse through their official website for more info.
There are actually another brand which I have given a try by my beloved sister, and found it quite effective. Somehow, it's pricey. I can't afford at the moment and can't help myself to give up for another try. May be not now, who knows? It's collagen powder from Bioversa (http://mybioversa.com/radianz5_platinum).
